A premier full-service Dermatology Office in Tri-Valley Area is looking for exceptional candidates for Eesthetician/ patient care coordinator. Dynamic and engaging personality, honesty, capability to learn quickly, and ability to multi-task are required. Dermatology and/or Cosmetic experience preferred. At least 1 year work experience in a medical office required. Following are some of the specific tasks and goals:

A current California State Aesthetician License required

At least 1 year experience in a Dermatology or plastic surgery office preferred.

Ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about what they do. Our perfect candidate will be dedicated, reliable and have excellent communication skills. Must be able to provide superb customer care and be proficient in the treatment of acne extraction, facial peels and microdermabrasion and assist in procedure coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient consults and treatment for skin care procedures within scope of medical esthetician
  • Establish patient skin care treatment plans
  • Perform patient consult and care coordination for cosmetic services provided as in person consult or online consults.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient treatment outcome to medical providers
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
  • Educate patients about health maintenance and skin care routine
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in dermatology, med spa or plastic surgery fields
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to adhere to care protocols and standards established by the practice
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver license and good driving record with reliable car for daily commute

Compensation: salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
