Position Summary:
We are seeking a professional Armed Security Officer to protect patients, staff, visitors, and assets at our
healthcare facility in Longview. This uniformed position requires a visible deterrent presence and emergency
response capability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular security patrols of all hospital buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Serve as a visible deterrent to criminal activity and de-escalate situations involving agitated individuals.
• Respond to all emergency codes, disaster events, and security incidents as directed.
• Conduct preliminary investigations of reported security incidents and prepare accurate reports.
• Identify and report security trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Transport patients, staff, or documents as needed in support of hospital operations.
• Rotate between facilities and adjust shift schedules as operationally required.
Education: High school diploma or GED required; security or law enforcement training preferred.
Experience: Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience strongly preferred.
