Job Summary
St. Lucie Battery and Tire is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, helping them understand their vehicle service needs while coordinating with technicians to ensure timely and high quality repairs. This position is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills and automotive service experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Greet customers, listen to vehicle concerns, and provide clear service recommendations
• Schedule service appointments and manage daily workflow
• Communicate with technicians to monitor repair progress and updates
• Explain repair needs, timelines, and costs to customers
• Prepare estimates, process payments, and complete service transactions
• Maintain accurate customer records and service documentation
• Resolve customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Educate customers on products, services, and promotions
• Support sales goals by identifying service opportunities

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Strong customer service and relationship building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
• Basic math skills for invoicing, percentages, and transactions
• Comfortable using computers, service software, and point of sale systems

Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two or more years of Service Advisor or automotive customer service experience preferred
• Tire or commercial tire experience is a plus
• Experience with automotive service software and systems preferred
• Basic accounting and payment processing experience preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Licenses and Certifications
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license required

Work Environment
• Automotive service center environment
• Exposure to noise, vehicle exhaust, grease, and shop conditions
• Regular attendance and adherence to company dress code required

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent walking, bending, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
• Regular use of computers, phones, and office equipment
• Ability to communicate clearly in person and over the phone
