About

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Partner with substantial expertise in commercial arbitration and a strong concentration in personal injury defense to join our New York practice. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-stakes arbitration matters, particularly for technology clients or high-volume dockets, while contributing to the growth of the practice and client relationships. The position is ideal for a seasoned attorney ready to drive cases strategically in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

Locations: Flexible - Work from our NYC, Long Island, or Westchester County offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial arbitration proceedings on behalf of clients (with a focus on technology-sector or high-volume matters) from inception through resolution, including hearings, motions practice, and appeals.
  • Defend personal injury claims in the New York City metropolitan area across diverse fact patterns, including app-based, platform-related, and off-platform incidents.
  • Draft and argue key motions, such as motions to dismiss and motions to compel arbitration.
  • Develop and execute sophisticated case strategies in partnership with clients.
  • Manage a substantial docket while supervising and mentoring associates and support staff.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact and contributing to business development.
  • Collaborate across offices and practice groups to deliver exceptional results and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • J.D. and active admission to the New York State Bar.
  • 7+ years of relevant litigation experience, with significant focus on commercial arbitration.
  • Demonstrated concentration in personal injury defense.
  • Proven track record in motions practice and arbitration advocacy.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage complex caseloads and develop junior team members.
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy abilities.
