Facilities Engineer

Responsible for the management and maintenance of the physical infrastructure, including buildings, equipment and systems. Ensure facilities are safe, functional and efficient while adhering to regulations. Oversees maintenance projects and coordinates with contractors.

Background Requirements

• Engineering degree

• Proficient in computer applications: Microsoft Office, 2D AutoCAD, 3D modeling software

• Proficient in verbal and written technical communications

• Experience with building codes, regulations, OSHA standards, etc.

• Experience with HVAC, electrical, construction, plumbing

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the concept, design, sourcing and project management of infrastructure projects such as air, water, building, lighting, conveyors

• Oversee maintenance schedules, equipment upgrades, and preventive maintenance programs

• Lead facility improvement projects from planning to execution

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)

• Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to support facility needs

• Monitor utility usage and implement energy-saving initiatives

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and inspections
