Position Summary
The Equipment Readiness Technician is responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and repair of mobile equipment units, including but not limited to industrial water systems such as Reverse Osmosis (RO), Ultra Filtration (UF), and Media Filtration. This role demands a self-motivated individual capable of performing tasks independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and or repair Flow Meters, Control Valves, PRV Valves, etc...
- Prepare and maintain mobile equipment trailers to operational standards.
- Conduct electrical repairs and general maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Work with and around chemicals safely and responsibly.
- Coordinate daily workflow and prioritize equipment needs with input from management.
- Manage housekeeping of the facility to maintain MPW standards.
- Train on the operational specifics of MPW equipment.
- Ensure scheduled repairs are completed on time and adjust plans for emergency repairs as needed.
- Maintain organized records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Coordinate and maintain running inventory of returned parts
- Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training in industrial maintenance preferred.
- 3–5 years of maintenance experience, with a focus on pump and industrial equipment repair.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to work 40 + hours on some occasions
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in water treatment equipment and mobile unit operations
