Project Manager / Civil Engineer (PE)
Location: Sacramento, CA | Hybrid | Full-Time
Professional Summary
We are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Civil Engineer / Project Manager to lead infrastructure and horizontal construction projects from planning through closeout. This role will oversee project delivery, engineering activities, client coordination, budgets, schedules, and field execution.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Manage infrastructure and horizontal construction projects from planning through closeout.
- Provide engineering oversight for site development, utilities, water/wastewater, transportation, levees, and public works.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and overall project delivery.
- Conduct site visits and provide construction support.
- Coordinate clients, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, technical teams, and regulatory agencies.
- Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, pay applications, and contract documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, permits, and contract requirements.
- Support proposals, client presentations, and business development activities.
- Mentor junior engineers and project staff.
- Active Civil Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Must reside in the greater Sacramento region or be willing to relocate.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience in construction, infrastructure, or engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with public agency or federal projects preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
