Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Litigation Associate Attorney with a minimum of five (5) years of California litigation experience to join our busy practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling matters from inception through pre-trial and will be comfortable independently managing a caseload while working collaboratively with partners and other team members.
Our firm handles a diverse docket of business, employment, and real estate litigation matters and offers the opportunity for meaningful client interaction, responsibility, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and written discovery responses
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal analysis
- Participate in and manage all aspects of the discovery process, including depositions and discovery disputes
- Collaborate with partners and support staff while handling matters with minimal supervision
- Ensure deadlines are met and matters are handled efficiently and accurately
Minimum Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA‐accredited law school
- Active and good‐standing California Bar license
- At least 5 years of California litigation experience, preferably in business, employment, and/or real estate litigation
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage a litigation caseload
