Established (100+ Years) Full-Service Law Firm Seeking Lateral Attorney with Partial Book for Healthcare, Employment, and Commercial Litigation in Jackson, MS
An established full-service firm based in Jackson, Mississippi with over 100 years in practice is seeking a Lateral Attorney with an existing client base or partial book of business to join its Healthcare, Employment, and Commercial Litigation group. This position is ideal for an experienced attorney looking to join a respected Mississippi firm with deep local roots, a collaborative environment, and the flexibility to continue servicing existing clients while expanding within a full-service platform.
Offer:
Compensation range: $160,000-$225,000 depending on experience and size of existing book of business

Hybrid flexibility with a minimum of 3 days onsite
Administrative, paralegal, and marketing support provided
Cross-practice collaboration and strong referral network within the firm
Qualifications:
5+ years of civil litigation experience in healthcare, employment, or commercial litigation
Existing client base or ability to bring in partial book of business
Mississippi Bar membership in good standing (or ability to waive in)
Strong legal writing, research, and client communication skills
Federal court or clerkship experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Manage and grow a caseload of healthcare, employment, and commercial litigation matters
Maintain and expand client relationships within the firm's collaborative structure
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
Oversee case strategy, depositions, and hearings
Collaborate with partners and firm leadership on litigation and business development initiatives
