Job Title: Senior Elder Justice Specialist / Social Worker (LMSW/LCSW)
Location: Bronx, NY | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Are you passionate about advocating for older adults and supporting survivors of elder abuse? We are seeking a Senior Elder Justice Specialist / Social Worker to join a mission-driven team dedicated to providing trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and case management to vulnerable older adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide trauma-informed counseling, advocacy, and case management to older adults.
- Conduct client-centered safety assessments and develop individualized safety plans.
- Deliver crisis intervention and supportive counseling services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including attorneys, physicians, nurses, and social workers.
- Develop and facilitate professional trainings on elder mistreatment and trauma-informed care.
- Assist with program development, grant reporting, and community outreach.
- Maintain accurate documentation and case records.
Qualifications
- LMSW or LCSW required.
- Experience in geriatrics, elder abuse, domestic violence, healthcare, behavioral health, or related social services preferred.
- Strong case management, advocacy, crisis intervention, and communication skills.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $80,000–$90,000 annually
