Overview
Lighting Design/Manufacturer/Distributor located in the Sunset Park section of Brooklyn is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. You will work closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and drive project success. Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure timely completion.
- Create and maintain project documentation.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, team members, and clients.
- Participate in interdepartmental meetings to discuss project status, risks, and issues.
- Negotiate timelines and deliverables with team members to ensure alignment with project goals.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Any design, architectural, project management internships or experience is desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Four year degree from an accredited school
