Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has full-time Field Service Technician opportunities available in the following locations: Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala and Doral, FL. Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD Secret security clearance. This position is contingent upon contract award with an expected start date of August 25, 2026.

  • Provides installation of C5IM systems/sub-systems and supporting systems; technical services for operations and maintenance of C5IM systems; integration of Audio/Visual equipment; and cable installation, including Cat 6, fiber optic, control cable, IPTV and speaker wire in support of Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) services and/or logistics services as required
  • Tests components to ensure cables and equipment are within proper specifications
  • Troubleshoots and determines system performance issues and provides solutions
  • Provides removal and proper disposal of obsolete systems and equipment while adhering to proper disposal and documentation/handling procedures
  • Provides support for implementing technical solutions, installing interfaces, and ensuring that devices are operational
  • Provides installation, integration, test, and management of systems that support DAO personnel
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple, complex work assignments
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a large, distributed IT enterprise
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and principle

Required Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active secret level clearance
  • High School Graduate +7 years’ experience
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • In rare occasions, overnight travel may be required.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements. If this position requires OCONUS travel (listed above), Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil lists out applicable current vaccination requirements by location.

  • Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.
  • Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
  • May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
