Licensed Practical Nurse - Day Shift
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Bell Minor Home in Gainesville, Georgia. This is an hourly day shift position with a differential pay of an additional $1.50 per hour added after 3PM. The selected candidate will provide direct nursing care to residents, supervise day-to-day nursing activities, and collaborate with the nursing team to ensure the highest degree of quality care. Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medication, wound care, and other treatments as ordered by the physician

Supervise and direct the activities of nursing assistants, as well as support personnel, to ensure the highest quality of care

Document and chart resident care, treatment, and progress in accordance with facility policies and procedures

Assist in planning and implementing resident care plans, as well as participating in quality assurance programs

Collaborate with the medical team to ensure coordination of care and timely communication of resident needs

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or administrator
Requirements:

Licensed Practical Nurse with current state license

Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills

Good Leadership qualities

Organized and detailed in work performance

Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience

Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility

Compliance with Residents' Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures

Ability to perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements
Compensation:

$34 - $39 HOURLY
