Job Title: Keyholder
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Keyholder to join our team. As the top salesperson in the store, the Keyholder will lead by example, ensuring exceptional customer service while driving sales. In addition to being a sales leader, the Keyholder will assist with opening and closing procedures, store security, and day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for sales, customer service, and leadership who is eager to make an impact on the store’s success.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Sales & Service: Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer has a positive shopping experience. Engage customers to drive sales and recommend products tailored to their needs.
- Sales Leadership: Take the lead in achieving and surpassing sales goals. Use product knowledge and sales techniques to promote merchandise and increase store sales.
- Store Opening and Closing: Assist with opening and closing the store, following all security protocols to ensure a safe and secure environment for staff and customers.
- Team Support & Mentoring: Act as a role model for staff, providing guidance and support to help them meet their sales targets and provide top-notch customer service.
- Staff Training: Mentor new employees on effective sales strategies, product knowledge, and customer service techniques to ensure a consistent store experience.
- Store Presentation: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment. Ensure that merchandise is well-stocked, displays are neat, and product availability is high.
- Customer Engagement: Build relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and concerns, and ensuring repeat business through personalized service.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, including receiving shipments, restocking merchandise, and performing inventory counts.
- Cash Handling: Perform cashier duties, accurately processing transactions and managing the register, including handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
- Security Measures: Help ensure the security of the store, including managing keys, alarms, and overseeing opening and closing procedures.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Additional coursework or education in retail management is a plus.
Experience:
- Prior retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or keyholder role.
- Strong background in customer service and store operations.

- Training & Development: Skilled in mentoring and training new staff on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service best practices.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for extended periods.
Work Availability:
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Must be able to work 35-45 hours per week, depending on store needs.
