The IT Support Specialist will provide helpdesk and field support services to end users and remote facilities. This position will be responsible for maintaining all hardware, software, inventory/asset management, and other peripheral IT related technologies.
Pay: $47,000 - $53,000 Annually
Shift: Full-Time, 1st Shift

The following duties are routine for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Day to day support of end users at the corporate office and remote facilities for all IT related services and hardware;

First point of contact for end user PC and telephony related issues;

Problem analysis of network related issues;

Solve end user issues remotely via standard remote support tools and methods;

User account moves, adds, changes;
-
Order and deploy new laptop/desktop workstations;

Install and configure business related COTS software;

Inventory and documentation of security compliance software agents via standard tools;

Travel to remote facilities to install and/or repair equipment;

Additional duties assigned by manager.
Required SkillsRequired & Preferred:
- Intermediate working knowledge of PC’s and associated hardware, along with basic networking and troubleshooting skills;

2 years’ experience in a helpdesk or similar role preferred, not required;

Demonstrated problem solving skills;

Experience with a work request system (ticketing system);

Ability to multi-task;

Ability to quickly prioritize tasks;

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;

Proven ability to work independently as part of a high-performance team;

Attention to detail;

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Microsoft certification(s) preferred

Travel within the state of Minnesota is required

Strong verbal skills and ability to communicate abstract concepts in a simple format;

Ability to communicate with a variety of people diverse cultures, socioeconomic and educational backgrounds;

Flexibility to meet a variety of changing priorities.
Physical Requirement

Hearing Ability to hear staff, incoming calls, and callers.

Vision Ability to see computer screen and written charts to document outcomes and obtain data.

Speaking Ability to speak to staff and external customers.

Sitting Approximately 5-6 hours per day.
