The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations to ensure efficient performance, high customer satisfaction, and profitability. This role involves managing store teams, developing operational strategies, implementing company policies, optimizing inventory and merchandising, and driving sales growth.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


  1. Deliver excellent customer service, Implementing store policies and procedures to ensure high customer satisfaction.

  2. Supervise and motivate retail staff. Provide daily oversight, mentorship, training, evaluations, development, and discipline.

  3. Collaborate with other departments to meet goals, problem solve, and form strategy.

  4. Promote a customer-centric culture by ensuring staff deliver exceptional service and resolve issues promptly

  5. Create, maintain, and regularly update procedures

  6. Identify areas for operational improvement and lead initiatives to streamline processes and increase efficiency.

  7. Complete administrative duties, including scheduling and work assignments

  8. Report on strategies, goals, and objectives

  9. Additional duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Business Administration or a similar field is preferred

  • Five years of related experience working in a retail environment

  • Three years of management experience

  • Strong written, verbal, and quantitative skills

  • Execute effective time management/project management strategies

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

  • Customer management skills

  • Acute attention to detail

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able and motivated to manage priorities and workflow

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:


  • It may involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment and requires working with multiple computer screens and programs simultaneously for extended periods.

  • Must be able to sit for up to eight hours per day, type on the computer for several hours a day, talk on the phone frequently throughout the day, stand for up to 8 hours at events or offsite venues, and climb stairs multiple times throughout the day

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) used in the workplace

  • Must be able to pass a background check and substance screening
