What You’ll Do:
Take ownership of substantive paralegal responsibilities that directly impact case outcomes, including:
- Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery responses/requests, deposition summaries, trial briefs, and related correspondence.
- Discovery Management: Oversee discovery processes, including drafting subpoenas, organizing document productions, and assisting with privilege review.
- Case Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research to support case strategies and assist in drafting detailed case summaries.
- Trial Preparation: Gain hands-on experience by preparing trial binders, exhibits, jury instructions, and other materials for hearings, mediations, and trials. Work directly with attorneys to assist with trial logistics.
- Client Engagement: Interact with clients to gather information, assist with case documentation, and provide updates on progress.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 5+ years of paralegal experience in civil litigation, intellectual property litigation, or business litigation within a law firm setting.
- Discovery Expertise: Proven skills with drafting discovery responses/requests, reviewing document productions, and managing evidence tracking.
- Court Knowledge: Strong familiarity with California state and federal court rules and procedures.
