Location: Sulphur, Louisiana
Job Type: Travel assignment, 13+ weeks duration
Schedule: Multiple shifts available; options include 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts such as:
- 7 AM – 3:30 PM
- 8 AM – 4:30 PM
- 1 PM – 9 PM
- 2 PM – 10 PM
- 7 AM – 5 PM
- 11 AM – 9 PM
- 12 Noon – 10 PM
- 7 AM – 7 PM
- 8 AM – 8 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders with precision and adherence to safety standards
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to optimize workflow
- Collaborate and consult effectively with physicians and nursing staff ensuring best patient outcomes
- Manage pharmacokinetics to individualize patient care
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records for accurate documentation and communication
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Louisiana Pharmacist License required
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification necessary
- Strong communication and organizational skills
