Maxed Out Trucks in Lee's Summit, MO is searching for a mechanical problem solver and collaborative team player to join our auto repair shop as a full-time Automotive Tech. YOUR SCHEDULE
The typical schedule for our Automotive Tech goes from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. We're closed on weekends!
YOUR DAY
Our Automotive Techs are what keep our shop running smoothly and our customers satisfied. Armed with various tools and diagnostic equipment, you're responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting all kinds of mechanical and electrical issues. You skillfully complete routine maintenance, tackle complex auto repairs, and accurately install new parts while closely documenting the services you perform.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of service experience in an automotive shop
- Diagnostic abilities and in-depth knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to provide your tools
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication skills
While not required, our ideal Automotive Tech also meets these preferred qualifications:
- Light-duty diesel experience
- ASE certification or equivalent experience
We're not looking for candidates with heavy-duty diesel experience, as it won't translate well to this specific position.
