Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Are you looking for a meaningful career where you can make a real impact every day? As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with Community Options, Inc. (COI), you'll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living fulfilling, independent lives.

At COI, we foster a fun, energetic, and supportive team environment that values collaboration, creativity, and personal growth. We provide the training, tools, and support you need to succeed-and to truly make a difference. We are offering part-time hours to work PRN/As Needed up to 30 hours per week. Pay will be $22.00 per hour in lieu of benefits.

What You'll Do

As a DSP, you will:

  • Support individuals with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, meal preparation, and housekeeping
  • Assist with developing social and life skills, including communication and community engagement
  • Administer medications in accordance with Colorado state guidelines (QMAP)
  • Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, or overall well-being
  • Implement individualized service plans and support goals
  • Transport individuals to appointments, work, and community activities using agency vehicles
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid Colorado driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Willingness to obtain QMAP and First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days (paid training provided)
  • Compassion, reliability, and a desire to help others
