We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Computer Science undergraduate students for our Summer Internship Program. This program provides hands-on experience working on real-world projects, exposure to modern technologies, and the opportunity to collaborate with experienced engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders.Interns will contribute to meaningful initiatives that support application development, system integration, data processing, and automation across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing, developing, and testing software applications
Support ongoing development of web-based and internal business applications
Work with APIs, databases, and data processing workflows
Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, operations)
Contribute to documentation, technical specifications, and user guides
Attend team meetings, code reviews, and agile ceremonies
Support automation and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript)
Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs) is a plus
Understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL) preferred
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Exposure to version control systems (Git)
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Interest in software architecture, integrations, or data engineering

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. Discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded. Jencap also offers a range of benefits and programs, based on eligibility, which currently include but are not limited to; comprehensive health care coverage, a 401k plan, and tuition reimbursement.
