A leading wine brokerage firm in Carlsbad, CA is searching for a highly motivated and top-rate Fine Wine Specialist/Sales Manager! They are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in e-commerce wine sales who has a deep passion and understanding of the wine industry. This role is perfect for someone who excels in buying and selling rare and collectible wines, catering to a discerning and well-educated audience of wine enthusiasts. This position provides a competitive base salary and commission structure, offering a significant earnings potential that rewards your expertise and efforts in the fine wine market!
Pay Range: $50,000 - $65,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analyze historical data on new release and older wines for buying and selling purposes
- Create content for email campaigns, paid, and organic social media posts
- Manage website sales and respond to web orders
- Engage with an existing mailing list through phone or personal email to sell wine
- Explore new opportunities for buying and selling
- Work closely with the President and VP of Operations on strategic initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce wine sales
- Strong knowledge of generating email campaigns and writing skills
- WSET certification or similar wine education is highly desirable
- Proficiency in HubSpot, Shopify, CRM, Klaviyo, and Fishbowl
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
