Salary Range: $89,000 - $135,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all building and grounds maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
  • Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure operational continuity and asset longevity.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and building regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) within the manufacturing facility.
  • Oversee the facilities budget, including forecasting, expenditure tracking, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Coordinate and supervise third-party contractors and vendors for repairs, services, and facility projects.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee facility renovation, expansion, and space utilization projects to support manufacturing needs.
  • Implement and maintain robust security and access control systems for the manufacturing plant and premises.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing facilities operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programs, including CMMS utilization.
  • In-depth understanding of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, and building codes relevant to manufacturing facilities.
  • Experience in managing facility-related capital projects, vendor contracts, and budgets.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) designation.
  • Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles within a facilities context.
  • Proficiency with advanced CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) functionalities and reporting.
  • LEED Green Associate or other sustainability-focused certification.
