Job DescriptionTechnical Support Specialist

Highly respected wealth management and financial services company in Louisville, Kentucky seeks an experienced Technical Support Specialist. This is an exceptional opportunity with an organization with a culture of excellence. The Technical Support Specialist position is responsible for ensuring all technical aspects are functioning optimally. The Technical Support Specialist’s responsibilities revolve around maximizing computer system capabilities for the organization including:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Outstanding technical knowledge of the installation, modification, testing and troubleshooting personal computer hardware and software.
  • Provides technical support for the purpose of maintaining the availability and reliability of the company network, PC’s, laptops, and the resolution of software problems.
  • Performs pilot testing and monitors new systems and applications through post implementation.
  • Handling internal and external customer technical support cases through phone and email submission.
  • Ability to work with a Managed Service Provider.
  • Preparing reference materials for users by drafting operations instructions.
  • Maintain client confidence by keeping their information confidential.
  • Performs other related duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years related experience or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training preferred.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Skills with M365 virtual environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Customer Service, interpersonal and follow-up skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude and highly self-motivated
  • Commitment to excellence, confidentiality, and high ethical standards
  • Strong problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Demonstrates versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • Demonstrates good organization skills coupled with reliability, flexibility, and desire to work closely with the user community and other members of the support staff.

Job Requirements / Working Conditions

  • Ability to accurately manage a large volume of complex tasks and meet required deadlines of the company and its clients.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of concentration with frequent time pressures and constant interruptions.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time within an indoor office environment around general office equipment, including computers and workstations.
  • Ability to maintain sustained visual attention for considerable periods of time.
  • This position may occasionally require working non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends to complete an assignment within the necessary time frame.
  • Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional travel to branch offices is required.
