Job Description
Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Tooling Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits.
 
Primary Responsibilities include:
 
<ul>
<li>Provide technical support for product development and design</li>
<li>Provide input and direction in the sourcing, design, construction, PPAP, and launch of new tools, fixtures, and equipment</li>
<li>Estimate, schedule, and execute all engineering changes for tooling, cost savings, etc...</li>
<li>Establish new and superior sourcing methods for new tooling</li>
<li>Work with production to implement Poka-Yoke methods</li>
<li>Conduct annual tool audits</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications and Requirements
 
<ul>
<li>Must have 5+ years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment</li>
<li>Must have 3+ years of modeling software experience (Solidworks or equivalent)</li>
<li>Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred or equivalent experience</li>
