Are you a confident, experienced leader who knows how to run a property like a well-oiled machine — and keep residents happy? We're looking for a results-driven Assistant Property Manager, with LIHTC experience, to take charge of a thriving multi-family apartment community.

In this role, you'll be responsible for everything from team supervision and leasing strategy to resident relations, budgeting, and day-to-day operations. If you're highly organized, people-oriented, and ready to lead with professionalism and purpose, this is the opportunity for you.


Schedule: Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday, 8AM-5PM


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Oversee all operations of a multi-family apartment community, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently
  • LIHTC applications
  • Lead and support on-site staff, including leasing agents and maintenance team
  • Develop and execute leasing and marketing strategies to maintain high occupancy
  • Foster positive relationships with residents and handle escalated concerns with care and professionalism
  • Manage rent collection, monitor delinquencies, and enforce lease policies
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal
  • Utilize property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar) to manage operations and reporting

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1-2 years of experience of leasing experience in a multi-family environment
  • LIHTC experience required
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service abilities
  • Proven success in managing budgets, increasing occupancy, and improving resident satisfaction
  • Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of leasing practices, maintenance operations, and Fair Housing laws
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications (CAM, CAPS, etc.) are a plus
