Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This is an all-encompassing maintenance position within a manufacturing facility. The plant features a variety of components, including wax casting areas, heat treat machines, furnaces, chain conveyors, robots, vacuum systems, and more. The primary responsibility is to ensure the upkeep of all machinery and facilities within the plant, performing tasks such as minor building maintenance and troubleshooting machine components.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair work on various presses and machine components.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues to ensure production continues smoothly.
- Replace defective parts like motors or gearboxes, and ensure they are ready for reuse.
- Set robots back to 'home' position for maintenance purposes.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain equipment reliability.
Essential Skills
- 5 years of mechanical troubleshooting experience with pumps, gearboxes, and solenoids.
- 5 years of electrical troubleshooting experience with 3 phase 480v systems, motors, prox switches, and VFDs.
- Ability to read technical prints.
- Experience in preventive maintenance and PLC troubleshooting.

This is a Permanent position based out of La Porte, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
They will get 401k match, health, dental life, vision they get 40 hours personal time and 80 hours of vacation training programs tool allowance boot allowance
