Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Senior Care Champion to provide high-quality care and support to seniors in an assisted living setting in 1075 E Victory Dr , Lindenhurst, IL 60046. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and passionate about helping seniors maintain their independence, comfort, and dignity while promoting a safe and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one care and support to senior residents.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support mobility and transfers using equipment such as gait belts, sit-to-stand devices, or Hoyer lifts when needed.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding support, and hydration reminders.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while encouraging engagement in activities.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
• Follow care plans and agency policies while ensuring client comfort and safety.

Qualifications:

• Previous caregiving experience in assisted living, home care, or senior care preferred.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s, dementia, hospice or Parkinson’s care is a plus.
• Experience with transfers and mobility assistance preferred.
• Strong communication, patience, and compassion.
• Ability to pass background check and required screenings.
• Reliable and committed to providing quality care.
