Maintenance Mechanic – Walker, MI
Schedule: 12-hour Night Shift (2-2-3 rotation), 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Pay Range: $30–33/hour + $1.00 shift differential

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations at our Grand Rapids facility. This role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and facility systems while helping minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all workplace safety standards, including PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems
- Maintain equipment such as HVAC systems, pumps, mixers, plumbing, and production machinery
- Perform preventive maintenance activities using CMMS software
- Complete maintenance records, repair logs, and purchasing documentation accurately
- Operate forklifts and lifts after completing required training and certifications
- Assist with installation and setup of new or upgraded equipment
- Support and train maintenance team members as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 5 years of combined maintenance experience and technical training
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, including basic PLC diagnostics
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Skills in machining, pipefitting, or PLC troubleshooting/programming
