Summary
Answers phones, greets customers, and assists with parts orders. Maintains inventory of all stocked items. Receives, verifies, and stores incoming inventory items.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. In person customer service and cash handling required, including processing credit card payments.
2. Answering phones, including emergency phone after hours.
3. Ordering parts for customers as needed. Requires online web searching.
4. Calls customers when part orders arrive.
5. Stocking inventory upon arrival.
6. Inventory count and updating discrepancies, to keep computer inventory records up-to-date.
7. Accesses computer records as needed to trace shipping schedule and location of packages.
8. If forklift certified, will unload incoming shipments and move items to proper location. Maintain inventory as expected.
9. Process returns timely and accurately according to company and vendor processes.
10. Uses Traverse and AgVantage software to maintain proper inventory control.
11. Must be organized.
12. Performs other duties as requested.
Education Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
Schedule
• Days, occasional Saturday morning shift required in spring

The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. Performs repetitive motion of fingers, hands, wrists, arms, shoulders and upper body while packing, unpacking, loading and unloading shipped goods and parts inventory. Requires dexterity of fingers to gather and pack items for shipment and enter data into computer. Often the incumbent is required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders, squat and climb stairs. The employee must occasionally lift up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision.

The position is inventory/parts. Preferably candidate will obtain forklift certification, as to operate forklift to unload inventory as needed. Will work in area that requires ability to hear sound of forklift equipment. Position requires use of appropriate personal protective equipment and participation in the Company’s safety training program.
