Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Property Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Dorchester, Massachusetts. This role involves supporting property management operations while ensuring compliance with HUD Section 8 regulations and maintaining strong relationships with residents. The ideal candidate will excel at managing administrative tasks, fostering resident satisfaction, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular income recertifications for residents in compliance with HUD Section 8 regulations.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments with residents to gather necessary documentation.
• Review resident income details and request additional verification when required.
• Manage both physical and electronic filing systems to ensure organization and accessibility.
• Utilize property management software, such as RealPage Onesite or Yardi, to maintain accurate records.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion and uphold confidentiality standards.
• Build positive relationships with senior citizens and families, addressing their needs effectively.
• Maintain a personable and approachable demeanor while managing high volumes of paperwork.
• Communicate professionally and efficiently with residents and team members in all interactions.• Proficiency in property management software, with experience in RealPage Onesite or Yardi preferred.
• Strong organizational skills to manage high volumes of documentation effectively.
• Familiarity with HUD Section 8 regulations and recertification processes.
• Ability to interact professionally with senior citizens, families, and diverse resident groups.
• Experience handling sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a personable approach.
• Knowledge of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budgeting.
• Previous experience with CRM systems and financial software tools such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and ADP.
