About the Role: Retail Team Member
As a Retail Team Member at Kilwins, you’ll be at the heart of creating unforgettable experiences for our customers. Whether it’s scooping our “Original Recipe” ice cream, crafting fresh fudge on the marble table, or helping a guest find the perfect chocolate gift, you’ll play a key role in making every visit special. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that’s perfect for someone who loves working with people and has a passion for quality.
What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a warm smile and friendly attitude, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere.
- Assist guests in selecting from our wide array of handcrafted sweets, chocolates, and ice cream flavors.
- Prepare and serve products like freshly made waffle cones, caramel apples, and hand-paddled fudge.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the store always looks its best.
- Uphold Kilwins’ commitment to quality and tradition by learning and performing classic confectionery techniques.
What We’re Looking For: Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or retail role.
- A friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- A passion for sweets, customer service, and creating memorable experiences.
