The Data Analyst Sales & Market Intelligence serves as a strategic business partnertoSales, Finance, and Product Marketing, transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and informed decision-making. This role plays a critical part in performance visibility, forecasting accuracy, pricing strategy, and executive reporting across the organization.
This position follows a hybrid schedule and is open to candidates local to Etters, PA and surrounding areas. Regular on-site presence at our Valley Green facility is required.
Key Responsibilities
Data Integration & Governance
- Consolidateand integrate data from multiple systems including ERP, CRM, financial platforms, and external databases.
- Cleanse,validate, and transform raw data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability.
- Build scalable data models that improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual processes.
Performance & Margin Analytics
- Monitor and analyze margin performance across:
- SKU-level profitability
- Customer account performance
- Manufacturing and distribution sites
- Market segments
- Product groups and portfolio mix
- Conduct detailed Price-Volume-Mix (PVM) analysis to identify key drivers of revenue and margin changes.
- Perform variance analysis and uncover revenueand margin improvement opportunities.
Reporting & Executive Dashboards
- Develop dynamic dashboards and visualizations tracking KPIs such as:
- Revenue growth
- Sales order trends and flash reporting
- Margin contribution and mix shifts
- Deliver weekly and monthly executive performance reports, highlighting trends, risks, and key movements.
- Translate complex analytics into clear, executive-level insights for leadership decision-making.
Forecasting & Strategic Planning
- Support both top-down and bottom-up forecasting models.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve forecast accuracy and revenue predictability.
- Provide analytical support for pricing strategy, portfolio optimization, and long-term planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product Marketing to align reporting and analytics with businessobjectives.
- Act as a data-driven advisor, delivering insights that influence commercial strategy and operational performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, sales analytics, or FP&A.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Experience working with ERP and CRM systems; manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of margin analysis, forecasting, and Price-Volume-Mix (PVM).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present insights to leadership.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
