DeVine provides technical and scientific support services to government clients.

Our company is looking for a Senior Aviation Military Analyst to join DeVine in a full time capacity. This position will be supporting a government customer, hence only US Citizens with Secret Clearance may be considered.

The Senior Aviation Military Analyst, with Utility Helicopter Subject Matter Expertise, will contribute to an effort that includes: development of operational methodologies that support the Warfighter Functions and capture the capabilities/requirements into requirements documentation. The workforce has operational and Army Aviation system subject matter expertise for UAS, Army aviation weapons and munitions, Army, Aviation Survivability Equipment and effects of Electromagnetic and Cyber threat to Army Aviation aircraft and subsystems, Army Aviation manned Reconnaissance and Attack, Utility, Cargo, and Fixed Wing Aircraft.

Requirements:

  • Rated Army Aviator with at least fifteen (15) years of Aviation flight/combat operations experience
  • Experience as a Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP) or Instructor Pilot (IP) in Army Aviation utility helicopter formations
  • Experience in the current Army tactical utility aircraft fielded to Army aviation units
  • Must process the military or civilian equivalent staff courses similar to CGSC/ILE or Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course
  • Senior or Master rated Army Aviator
  • Understands and capable of providing detailed analysis or sub analysis to team members on the tactical operational employment of Army Aviation utility aircraft
  • At least five (5) years’ experience working in combat/capabilities developments
  • Basic understanding of the Army’s light utility fleet and its limitations
  • Must be capable of independent work based on broad senior level guidance to produce completed white papers, concept papers, requirements documents, operational views, and other written products as required within the scope of the task order
  • Must be able to review and edit products to ensure they are written at the graduate level prior to delivery to the Government with only minor edits required by the Government
  • SECRET clearance required

Preferred and Desired Experience:

  • Prior tactical operational staff experience with Army Aviation attack, reconnaissance, or assault planning, training, and execution in organizations of 400 plus to 2863 plus personnel
  • Prior tactical operational management experience of a 400 plus organization
  • Experience as a Maintenance Test Pilot or Examiner in Army Aviation utility aircraft
  • Experience in planning, executing and facilitating Joint Working Groups
  • Experience as a Team Lead conducting Aviation studies with experience in developing capabilities and evaluating technologies
  • Direct leadership of a team that authored a Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) approved JCIDS document
  • Participation as a direct team member in the Army Aviation Operations CBA
  • Utility aviation operational experience in combat operations
