Duration: 12 month contract, with possible extension

The DNA Group is seeking a UAT Tester (Journeyman) to support our client implementation project. In this role, you will support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities to ensure system functionality meets business requirements. You will work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to build, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and defect tracking processes. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a large-scale enterprise system while growing within a structured testing environment.


Overview Requirements:

• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) using established testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Build, maintain, and execute test plans, test suites, and end-to-end (E2E) test cases.
• Develop test scripts aligned with business processes and requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects through resolution.
• Utilize tools such as JIRA, Selenium, QC/ALM, and SQL for testing and reporting.
• Collaborate with business SMEs and technical teams to validate system functionality.
• Support validation and verification (V&V) processes across system implementations.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
• Assist in identifying process improvements and testing best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation and testing reports.
• Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
• Support coordination with development teams for issue resolution and system enhancements.
• Participate in large-scale enterprise system implementation efforts.


Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience in UAT testing within enterprise environments
• Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA, Selenium, QC/ALM, and SQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail
• Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders
• Knowledge of testing techniques covering end-to-end scenarios and edge cases
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Experience using Microsoft Visio for process and flow diagram development (preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (preferred)


Required Experience:

• UAT Testing Using Various Methodologies and Tools: 4 years (Required)

• Building and Maintaining Test Plans, Test Suites, and E2E Test Cases: 4 years (Required)

• Writing Test Scripts Based on End-to-End Business Processes: 4 years (Required)

• JIRA (Requirements, Test Cases, Defect Tracking, and Reporting): 4 years (Required)

• Conveying Technical and Functional Concepts: 6 years (Required)

• Preparing Complex Technical Documentation: 6 years (Required)

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Related Field (or Equivalent Experience): Required

• Qualification for Journeyman-Level Role: Required
