We are seeking a Maintenance Reliability Lead to lead maintenance and operational improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for improving equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and preventative maintenance programs while partnering closely with production teams to solve operational challenges.

The ideal candidate brings strong maintenance leadership, troubleshooting expertise, and a passion for continuous improvement to help optimize production performance and reduce downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and operational readiness.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective Preventative Maintenance (PM) program to maximize equipment uptime and extend asset life.
  • Establish daily operator maintenance standards and reinforce proper equipment care practices.
  • Identify opportunities for scrap reduction, efficiency improvements, and workflow optimization.
  • Analyze production processes and implement improvements that support operational performance.
  • Develop, evaluate, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance processes.
  • Investigate and resolve equipment failures, material issues, and production bottlenecks.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, and leadership teams on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment repairs, upgrades, and improvements.
  • Track maintenance and equipment performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support equipment installation, upgrades, and facility improvement projects as needed.
  • Maintain documentation related to maintenance programs, procedures, and operational processes.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent work experience in manufacturing, maintenance, industrial technology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing maintenance, equipment reliability, or process improvement strongly preferred.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience within maintenance or technical teams preferred.
  • Working knowledge of preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with computer systems used for maintenance tracking, documentation, and reporting.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to access and inspect machinery and production equipment throughout the facility.
