Job Description
Duties for our Dental Assistant (DA) Include:
<ul>
<li>Welcome patients in the dental office</li>
<li>Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort</li>
<li>Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed</li>
<li>Sterilize instruments according to regulations</li>
<li>Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry (optional)</li>
<li>X-Ray certificate (optional)</li>
<li>Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations</li>
<li>Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and preventative measures to promote optimal dental health</li>
<li>Record vital signs and medical history details to support patient assessments</li>
<li>Uphold aseptic techniques and infection control standards throughout all clinical activites to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff</li>
<li>Familiarity with dental equipment operation includin 3D scanners and other advanced diagnostic tools *Will Train*</li>
<li>Strong communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively within the healthcare team</li>
