Summary
Join a bakery production team responsible for packaging, inspecting, and preparing bakery products for shipment while maintaining food safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Package bakery products using the correct containers and materials
- Inspect products for quality and remove defective items
- Verify labels, weights, product information, and codes
- Monitor packaging equipment and report any issues
- Seal, label, and prepare boxed products for shipment
- Maintain a clean work area, including sweeping and mopping
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures
- Assist with training and other production duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous food production, manufacturing, packaging, or general labor experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work around production equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Must be able to walk, stand, lift throughout the day
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Must pass a Background Check and Drug Screen
