Primary Responsibilities
-
Provide technical leadership on complex geomechanics and mining projects, with emphasis on open pit mining.

Lead advanced numerical modeling efforts, interpret results, and present technical findings to clients and stakeholders.

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining and expanding long-term relationships.

Drive proposal development, scope definition, and project execution strategy.

Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers.

Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

Contribute strategically to business development initiatives.

Travel up to 20% for client site visits and professional conferences.
Minimum Qualifications

Master’s or Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering, Geomechanics, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geophysics, or a related discipline.

Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant post-graduate experience in geomechanics, rock mechanics, mining engineering, or related consulting roles.

Extensive experience with advanced numerical modeling.

Demonstrated success leading complex technical projects and mentoring teams.

Strong business development acumen and client-facing experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Field experience and familiarity with advanced geomechanics software preferred.

Employment-based visa sponsorship may be available, subject to business needs, candidate qualifications, and immigration regulations.
Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $250,000.00 per year
