OVERVIEW:
Assist the Team Leader with managing day to day services to individuals in an residential setting, including, coordination of client schedules and transportation, personal/grocery shopping, and assists with DSP duties as needed. Responsible for security agency credit cards and petty cash and all aspects of client finances.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ensures Division for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities health and safety standards are met.
- Maintains contact on routine and non-routine issues with Cheyenne Village departments: Nursing, Business, and Maintenance.
- Ensures IRSS plans are completed and updated annually. . Assist Benefits Coordinator to ensure HQS requirements are met.
- Provides direct support/service to each person based on the ISSP/BISSP goals.
- Conducts or assists with completion of Person Centered Planning processes, including annual reviews of person centered planning documentation.
- Monitors medications IE: accurate counts, MARS. Assists with monthly medication audits.
- Monitors individual receiving services funds by performing reviews of cash reserves and monthly balancing of financial records. Monitors and balances petty cash and food stamps monthly.
- Monitors checking/saving accounts of persons served and reconciles their bank statements.
- Controls department credit cards; maintains sign in/out documentation. Completes monthly personal finance transaction report. Monitors sign in/out of credit cards, petty cash, and individual funds in absence of Team Leader.
- Ensures budgets of persons served are completed with required documentation.
- Completes monthly on-site monitoring forms. Reports and takes action on any concerns.
- Ensures for completion of emergency drills and evacuation procedure reviews and submits reports.
- Promotes person centered services including active listening to the needs and preferences of the individuals receiving services. Ensures individual’s needs are met in a timely manner.
- Assists with paperwork relating to individuals receiving services; i.e. leases, HQS, food stamps.
- Ensures grocery shopping routines and menus are followed.
- Performs all other job duties as assigned.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle as part of your job duties as assigned. Most Cheyenne Village jobs require driving as part of their daily job duties. This requires maintaining a driving record acceptable to the State of Colorado, Cheyenne Village, Inc., and its insurance carrier’s requirements.
Maintain current CPR, First Aid, and QMAP (if required) certifications. Cheyenne Village will pay for these classes if you do not have them.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is primarily a small office setting with multiple staff which can sometimes become noisy and hectic. May also work in a home setting with one or two individuals with IDD. Flexibility and ability to change priorities are a must.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Move about from location to location. Exerts for force and/ or lifts and carries objects up to 10 pounds regularly, 10-20 pounds frequently and 20-50 pounds occasionally.

PAY TYPE: Hourly
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
Two years college education preferred. One year related work experience in human services field. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and e-mail. Maintains criminal and driving checks acceptable with State of Colorado, insurance carrier and Cheyenne Village, Inc. requirements. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
