Join the Simos team as a Maintenance Technician (Warehouse) earning $18.50/hour. In this seasonal role, you will perform general labor and facility maintenance tasks, including lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading, maintaining a clean workspace, and organizing inventory. Candidates should have experience in mechanical, electrical, or general maintenance, be comfortable with physical work, and work well independently and with a team. This position is 40 hours per week, 6am- 2pm, on a Wednesday-Sunday schedule (weekends required, some weekdays (flexibility). Assignment runs through mid-March with an Immediate start. Resume required. 1 year maintenance department experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • All Facility Tech 1.2 qualifications
  • Trained and licensed on Reach and Order Picker Forklift.
  • Qualified and experienced completing facility and listed production equipment PMs
  • Qualified and experienced completing facility work order repairs.
  • Experienced at completing Facility Projects independently.
  • Trained and experienced completing at least 2 rotations of mobile equipment battery watering.
  • Trained, certified and experienced completing Haz-Mat
  • 1 year maintenance department experience
  • Ability to lift parts weighing up to 50 lbs. without powered equipment assistance
  • Visual capacity to clearly recognize, read, and understand standard operating procedures, signs, part number labels, and instructions
  • Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic
  • Ability to coordinate maneuvering of varied bilateral hand and foot controls at a rapid pace
  • Ability to utilize personal protective equipment, which may include gloves, safety harnesses, and safety shoes
  • Flexibility to work in either a hot or cold work environment

Associate Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Background Check
  • Able to Lift 50 pounds
  • Drug Test
  • Stand for Shift Duration
  • Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $18.50 - $18.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
