Guest Service Manager

  • Location: On-site,Running Aces Casino - 15201 Running Aces Blvd, Columbus, MN 55025
  • Schedule: Full time

Purpose of the Guest Service Manager:

The Guest Service Manager will ensure proper training and supervision of all Aces Rewards personnel, to deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Running Aces standards and company policies and procedures. This is a career-oriented position that will build management skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all Aces Rewards Front Desk staff, including scheduling, attendance, performance, timesheets, training, corrective action, etc.
  • Planning promotions and execution of drawings.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing of promotions and events.
  • Ensuring that the Front Desk staff have all the knowledge possible for the entire building.
  • Building monthly kiosk offers and promotion development.
  • Verifying monthly mailers (active, new member, birthday, etc.)
  • Maintain inventory of all things Retail each month and ordering new sale items.
  • Run and analyze reports for coupon redemptions, mailers and play histories.
  • Maintain Marketing back up invoices.
  • Assist with Hotel billing auditing.
  • Manage tier card level exceptions.
  • Assist and handle exclusions and reinstatements.
  • Fill in at the Front Desk as needed.
  • Create a fun, welcoming and inviting atmosphere and culture for both staff and guests
  • Oversee and coordinate assigned shifts and ensuring full coverage at the front desk
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Requirements:

  • 2 years of hospitality or customer development experience preferred.
  • 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
  • 2 years in sale position or outbound guest relations preferred.
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members
  • This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of company policy and procedures, state regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities
  • Must possess the ability to obtain a Minnesota Racing Commission gaming license

Physical, intellectual and environmental conditions:

  • Ability to work in a crowded and noisy environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills while developing and managing projects.
  • Must be able to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to professionally resolve conflicts with guests and employees.
  • Ability to work alone and in a team setting, not always during “regular” business hours.
  • Knowledgeable of Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
