Job Title: Systems and Network Administrator

Department: Information Technology

Location: Onsite – Plover/Stevens Point, WI

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pointe Precision is seeking a full-time, onsite Systems and Network Administrator to support and maintain the technology infrastructure behind our high-precision manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on, internal-facing role within our Information Technology (IT) department—ideal for a skilled professional who thrives on solving problems, optimizing systems, and ensuring secure, stable networks.

As a critical member of the team, you’ll manage physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and firewalls while also supporting end users across departments. This is your opportunity to make a tangible impact at a family-owned company known for its welcoming culture and commitment to quality.

What You’ll Do:

As the Administrator, you’ll be responsible for managing and supporting Pointe Precision’s IT environment to ensure reliable operations across our growing manufacturing business.

Key responsibilities include:

Administer network systems (LAN/WAN), VMware environments, SAN storage, and Windows Servers

Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues across servers, databases, Exchange, and backups

Support cybersecurity, user access, security policies, and disaster recovery documentation

Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on upgrades, integrations, and IT projects

Ensure infrastructure aligns with IT and manufacturing best practices and compliance standards

What You’ll Bring:

Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in systems and network administration

Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, SQL Server, Exchange, and SAN technologies

Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, and system security

Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

This role is fully onsite in Plover, WI. Occasional access to the production floor and after-hours work may be required. Remote work is not available.
