As part of the talented CNC team, you will operate machinery in our manufacturing environment. Successful candidates are team oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.

Essential Functions:

  • Safely work with CNC milling centers, CNC lathes, Manual mills, Tapping equipment and a large variety of metal working tools.
  • Follow setup instructions for products being made and to be able to accurately ensure all fixtures and tooling are installed properly and safely.
  • Accurately complete all paperwork and documentation for part inspection/run records.
  • Be able to work as part of a team and follow instructions and daily assignments to produce products in the safest and most efficient manner possible.
  • Ask questions when instructions are not clear to resolve the issue. This is a team environment, and you must embrace it.
  • Be willing to make suggestions for process improvements and identify observations to make the department or processes more efficient.
  • Testing: Utilizing test equipment and control plans to test assembled products for safety, function and compliance.
  • Safety and Housekeeping: Responsible for the safety and cleanliness of work cells. Contributes to all 5S efforts. This also includes coolant and chips.
  • Communication: Escalates issues in a timely manner. Works with team to diagnose and resolve technical issues and to achieve goals.
  • Quality: Maintain high quality standards; continuously monitor your production quality; visually inspect or measure parts throughout the production run; set up all required gauges and checks; inspect parts throughout the shift and address quality issues with the appropriate personnel.
  • Problem Solving: Report any mechanical or system problems to maintenance and leadership. Work with supervisors and maintenance to assist in problem solving and resolutions, on a daily basis.
  • Relief: Performs work of Operator as schedule allows.
  • Perform any other assigned duties as required throughout the day.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of experience in CNC environment
  • Experience with reading prints and measuring parts using various calibrated tools
  • Ability to identify and diagnose common failures
  • Ability to operate fabrication equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and written
  • Experience with MS Office

Hours: 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday-Friday
