LOD Staffing has openings for Master Data Analyst

Location: San Antonio TX 78205

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:45am – 4:30pm

Compensation: $23.00/hr


Position Overview


The Master Data Analyst is responsible for providing master data maintenance. Provides technical expertise and support of technology systems upgrades, enhancements and replacements regarding master data. Exercises functional and technical supervision over assigned staff.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Enters, validates, uploads, and maintains master data elements across
    business functions. Ensures data quality and integrity. Coordinates with
    the user community to ensure correctness and completeness of data
    contained in requests.
  • Assists the project lead with the overall data management strategy of
    data maintenance, cleansing, and quality control.
  • Ensures that the organization complies with the established data
    governance rules, policies and procedures.
  • Provides support, guidance and informal training for end-users.
  • Monitors and analyze master data files for continuous improvements,
    cleanliness and integrity.
  • Monitors and performs root-cause analysis regarding data and system
    integration problems.
  • Recommends and implements corrective action. Monitors ongoing issues
    and escalates as needed. Follows-up with customers to ensure
    satisfactory resolution.
  • Develop processes, procedures, and documentation relating to the
    creation and maintenance of master data including user guides and on-
    line tools.
  • Prepares and maintains any logs, records, documentation, and trouble
    tickets.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations. Develops standard and ad-
    hoc reports related to master data.
  • Participates in analysis, validation, and testing relating to system
    enhancements and upgrades.
  • Acts as a resource for and liaison to departments as well as
    external contacts such as businesses and agencies.
  • Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.


Minimum Qualifications


· Must be able to pass a national background check and drug screening

· Must have a valid Class C Driver’s License

· Must have a HS Diploma or GED Equivalent

· Must have a Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university

  • Must have (1) year experience working in an Enterprise Resource Planning
    (ERP) environment such as SAP or related experience.


Additional Skills Required


  • Knowledge of IT processes, such as configuration management, change
    management, and service desk management.
  • Knowledge of financial and purchasing systems such as SAP and ERP
    systems.
  • Knowledge of business-related processes, particularly in the SAP ERP
    and SAP SRM environment.
  • Knowledge of complex database applications and queries.
  • Ability to operate a computer keyboard and other basic office
    equipment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to create and use spreadsheets.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work with project teams to support and/or develop high
    technology systems and solutions.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project
    consequences of proposed actions, and implement recommendations in
    support of goals.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with co-
    workers, management, and the public.
  • Ability to perform all the physical, intellectual, and analytical
    requirements of the position including decision making.


Work Environment


Work is in a professional office setting with standard business hours; however, extended hours may be required during payroll processing cycles, month-end close, or peak operational periods.

This position requires:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Frequent use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and email platforms
  • High attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment
  • Regular interaction with employees, management, vendors, and external partners
  • Handling of confidential and sensitive financial and employee information

Physical and Mental Requirements


· Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, handling, reach outward, reach above shoulder, crawl, squat/Kneel, bend, push and pull frequently. Maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on work surface.
  • Ability to use upper and lower extremities to move or transport 25 to 50 pounds, including pressing against something to force it in a forward, downward or outward position or drag, haul 25 to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend the body downward and forward by bending spine at waist, and bending legs at knees and moving extremities in any direction
  • Ability to withstand physical demands on the body, including being in a stationary and/or standing position most of the day
  • Ability to express and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, including where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly
  • Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
