Position Summary $16hr-$17hr

Our commitment to safety is accomplished by adherence to FDA regulations, the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Version 8, HACCP & food safety principles, preventive controls, and food defense measures.
Essential Responsibilities
- Performs verification activities for production, maintenance, shipping & receiving, sanitation, and quality per HACCP and BRC requirements.
- Trains on all food safety policies including HACCP and food defense.
- Completes daily records.
- Ensure product conformity with customer and regulatory standards.
- Reports any deviations to applicable management and enacts corrective actions.
- Ensure sanitary, safe, and good working condition of all equipment and facility areas.
- Participates in GMP inspections, Internal Audits, Mock Recalls, and management meetings or reviews.
- Ensures food safety and quality policies and procedures
Education and Work Experience
1+ year industry experience, food handling industry preferred.
Higher education completion, a plus.
Knowledge and Skills
- Good Manufacturing Practices.
- HACCP Certification recommended.
- Ability to read and write effectively.
- Able to identify deviations and enact corrective actions as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and good organization
- Capable of working independently to a production schedule
