Position Overview
Our client is seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney with a strong work ethic and the desire to grow within a dynamic practice. This role is ideal for an individual who takes initiative, learns quickly, and thrives in a collaborative yet fast-moving legal setting. The attorney will handle court appearances, develop case strategy, and provide direct client representation across a range of litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities

Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, legal research, and briefs across foreclosure, landlord-tenant, and real estate litigation matters.

Develop and execute legal strategies while providing direct client advisement throughout the litigation process.

Represent clients in court, attend hearings, and travel locally for appearances as required.

Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring all deadlines, filings, and court requirements are met.

Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case handling.
Required Qualifications

Admitted to practice law in the State of New York (active and in good standing).

1-3 years of litigation experience preferred; experience in foreclosure or landlord-tenant law is a strong plus.

Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including client interaction.

Reliable transportation for local court appearances and travel between office locations as needed.
