Our client, a prestigious law firm renowned for one of New York’s most sophisticated and diverse full-service real estate practices, is seeking a Transactional Real Estate Attorney to join their team on a project basis. This hybrid role (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) offers a unique opportunity to work with a highly respected firm in the real estate space.
Position Details:
- Location: New York, NY (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
- Pay Rate: $90+/ hour
- Duration: 3-4 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents related to construction loans, bridge loans, and mezzanine loans on behalf of the lender.
- Collaborating with the firm's real estate team to handle transactional matters, ensuring compliance with guidelines and deadlines.
- Utilizing your expertise to navigate the complexities of commercial real estate transactions.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in Commercial Real Estate Law, specifically representing lenders.
- A proven track record with construction loans, bridge loans, and mezzanine loans.
- Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills, with an ability to handle complex transaction structures.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a transactional attorney specializing in commercial real estate.
- Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating loan agreements, including construction, bridge, and mezzanine loans.
- Licensed attorney in good standing with the relevant state bar.
- Proven ability to manage complex real estate transactions from inception to completion.
- Exceptional skills in document production and legal analysis.
- Adept at working collaboratively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and in-office responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
