Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide engaging assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and swiftly
- Encourage customer interest and upsell our merchandise
- Work with others to maintain organized merchandise displays and stocking practices
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with proper cash handling procedures and cashiering skills
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and replenishing shelves as needed
- Communicate clearly with customers using excellent etiquette and active listening skills
- Maintain store order, organization and cleanliness
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment is helpful
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with customers Bilingual abilities is not required but a plus
- Demonstrate the ability to be a team player and assist the store management staff
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
- Ability to self-start and be flexible, depending on the needs of the business
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
