Key Responsibilities
- Counsel clients on family law matters and represent them in mediations, motions, arbitrations, and trials.
- Conduct discovery, gather evidence, and prepare legal briefs and strategies for court proceedings.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings and agreements with precision and timeliness.
- Interpret laws and rulings for clients while collaborating with colleagues on complex cases.
- Manage multiple cases efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining excellent client service.
Qualifications
- Active member of the Washington State Bar Association.
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, including at least 2 years in family law.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle complex cases independently while delegating tasks effectively.
- Commitment to client service excellence and adherence to firm values.
Technology Proficiency
- Familiarity with FamilySoft is required; experience with PracticeMaster, TABS, and Worldox is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to troubleshoot standard tech issues.
